In March 2023 I received a distressed phone call from my 17 year old son... A parents worse nightmare..He'd been riding his Ebike home from college at 4pm in the afternoon when 4 masked cowards had rammed him with their car to steal his bike. They didnt care if they hurt or killed him, luckily he'd been thrown from the bike but still resulting in serious cuts to his face, hands, arms and legs. Knowing he was in grave danger, even with his injuries, he jumped up and ran. The thieves threw his bike into the back of their car (stolen) and drove off up a very busy road never to be seen again. The picture below is of the criminals driving away moments after the attack and theft. As you can imagine he was very shaken and we never saw the bike again. Not that the bike was our main concern but it cost £7500.As a father I felt helpless, I was 30 miles away and couldnt do anything. To further add to the helplessness I had no way of knowing who had attacked him and no way to track the whareabouts of the bike.WHY DIDN'T I INSTALL A TRACKING DEVICE?

After informing the police it became very clear that there was nothing they could do and even though my son could have been killed the case was closed due to no leads!! 2 days later another cyclist was attacked by the same gang, resulting in more serious injuries and them also using a knife in the attack and theft. Again the Police could do nothing. After another 2 days another cyclist was attacked but this time the bicycle had an apple airtag installed and the Police managed to track it resulting in the car being sized and an ongoing investigation.In hindsight I should have installed these trackers into his bike and I'm sure it would have resulted in the Police capturing the theives quickly.After purchasing 4 airtags for £99 it quickly became apparent it was going to cost alot to tag all our bicycles, cars and valuables so I decided there must be a cheaper solution.............

A few months later an COSMIC was born. The name came from the first initial of my partner and our 5 children...Our world that we want to protect...........With our far lower pricing than the market leader we hope our products can be more affordable and allow other the peace of mind that they are being pro active should the worse ever happen. We all hope our products remain dormant and are never needed!!............Even if you dont order from us I'd urge all people who have valuable items, Pets etc to get a tracker of this kind... It can make a big difference............

GREAT NEWS.....Nov 7th 2023. Its fantastic to report that the new CRIMINAL JUSTICE BILL mentioned in the KINGS SPEECH 7.11.23....

The police will have the power to enter a premises without a warrant to seize stolen goods, such as phones, when they have reasonable proof that a specific stolen item is inside a property or premises, for example based off GPS location tracking technology.

This means that if you have a tracking device such as a COSMIC iTag the police will now be able to enter a property without a search warrant. This amazing news and should lead to many more convictions and recoveries for stolen property.

Did you know there are around 77,500 bicycles stolen every year in the UK. Almost 90% of all bicycle theft cases reported to police over the past year were closed without a suspect even being identified, and just 1.7% resulted in someone being charged, analysis of crime statistics shows.!!! E-Bike thefts were up by 37% in 2021.

There are around 130,000 car thefts and 40,000 motorcycle thefts each year in the UK. These thefts are continuing to drive up insurance costs.

1 IN 3 Pets will go missing in their lifetime with 14% of dogs going missing within 5 years. 2160 dogs were stolen in 2022, thats 6 per day. It's estimated that80,000 dogsand200,000cats are killed on our roads every year
